BOTOX


Botox, the most recognised and commonly used non-surgical cosmetic therapy, diminishes lines and wrinkles caused by smiling, laughing and frowning. Commonly treated wrinkles are those that occur on the forehead, the Glabella region (otherwise known as the ‘11’ lines that form in between your eyebrows) and ‘crow’s feet’, the wrinkles that occur in the outer corners of the eyes.

DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal-fillers may be used to treat various areas of the face; smoothing fine lines and wrinkles and re- volumising larger areas of the face.

The main areas for treatment are: Naso-labial lines, lips, peri- oral lines, frown lines and oral commissures. Dermal-fillers unlike Botox are not injected into the muscle but into the different layers of the skin.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural hydrating substance that is found in our skin. When we are young, our skin contains high amounts of HA making it look healthy and plump. As we age, our skin loses HA and in turn loses structure and volume, this creates lines and wrinkles. Dermal-fillers are an effective and safe way to replenish the lost HA in your skin, helping to alleviate facial lines and wrinkles.
