I recently took all three of my kids in for annual
medicals "Well Child". Felt inspired to write a review because I was taking aback at how well nurse, Debbie and Dr Marissa handled the different issues of a nine-year-old a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old. Everything was checked thoroughly and my kids felt comfortable enough to talk about anything that was bothering them. I even got to find out issues I wasn't aware of. Can't recommend highly enough!

Dr Vassiliou knew when I had last been to the surgery, which vaccinations I had already had, and exactly what I needed for my travels to India. She is highly professional, understanding and patient and above all, always able to help me. Great experience! My dad got an eye inflammation which escalated pretty quickly. We managed to get a same day appointment with Dr Marissa. She is very knowledgeable and patient. She listened carefully to my dad’s medical history and prescribed the right medication. As it was late in the evening, she helped us find a pharmacy that had the medication and also recommended an ophthalmologist.

Over the last few years, I’ve needed to see Dr Vasilliou on a few occasions, if I could give her a 6-star appraisal then I would. For me Dr Vasilliou embodies everything anyone could every wish for when seeing a doctor - very professional, very knowledgeable with outstanding interpersonal skills. No concerns are dismissed without discussion. Also, very importantly the doctor takes time to really understand the issues before diagnosing what further action could be needed. People might think this standard practice for a doctor, sadly in general that is not the case today. We need more doctors like Marissa Vasilliou!

I got an appointment on the day that I wanted it. Dr Vassiliou is very knowledgeable and competent and extremely pleasant. It was great to be given time to discuss the problem, rather than the time pressure that one always feels when seeing one's NHS GP, even assuming that you can get an appointment!
