John is the Medical Director of Doctor Today. He also
works as a consultant in Accident and Emergency. Having qualified in
1968 and having worked in Zimbabwe, South Africa and the UK, he has a wide
experience of medical and surgical problems, especially
emergencies. His special
interests are pain relief, treatment of backache and neckache, the
effects of
injuries, side effects of medications and puzzling symptoms. |

Dr Beattie graduated with First Class Honours from the University of New South
Wales, Sydney, Australia in 2000. Since then, she has worked primarily
in General Practice, enjoying all aspects of the work and undertaking
further training in children's and women's health. Susan finds the
most enjoyable part of GP work to be the relationships with patients,
and the opportunity it provides for her to inform, reassure
and help.

Dr Cronje qualified at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She
is a widely experienced general practitioner who relates very well to
patients of all ages and from all walks of life. In addition to
emergency medicine, she has special interests in urology and opthalmology.

Chris is a nurse practioner with a wide experience of nursing in
both emergency and primary care settings. Her specialist areas include
travel clinic vaccinations, sexual health testing, MMR consultations/advice,
well woman screening (including smears and
weight management support), ear care, contraception advice and care
of the eldery. She can also administer fertility
injections for patients currently under the care of a specialist.

Cliford is our accredited and experienced
sonographer practitioner. Since graduating from the
College of Radiographers in
1993, he has worked for many NHS organisations in the
South East, London, the Midlands and the north west of England, as
well as in the private sector. His special interests are in abdominal
scans, obstetrics and gynaecological scans, as well as small parts and
vascular scans. Cliford relates well to all patients and is
always willing to help. |

Tom is a State Registered Podiatrist with
seven years experience. He works both in the NHS and the private
sector, and is a member of the Health Professions Council and the
Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. His special interests include
local anaesthesia, minor surgery, podiatric surgery and
biomechanics. |

Tracy is a registered dietician with 12 years experience in both the
NHS and private practice. She can provide nutrition advice and education
for most medical conditions such as obesity, diabetes,
high cholesterol/heart disease, high blood pressure and allergies, as well
as answer any general questions regarding your diet. Her special interest
is sports nutrition for athletes (across all classes from novice to elite).

Oliver is a person-centred integrative counsellor and a member of the
British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). He uses
cognitive and behavioural techniques as well as Gestalt approaches in
his work. He specialises in counselling related to depression,
anxiety, relationships, life-work balance, sexual health and HIV.
Oliver also offers life coaching for people who want to make
changes in their life and who prefer to work in a more goal-orientated
way.

Vanessa is a solution-focused therapist who specialises in fears,

Hypnosis, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Visualisation and
Stress Management. She is a member of the British Association
